Sexual violence can happen to anybody, so HELP supports absolutely anyone that has encountered sexual abuse or assault no matter their age, gender or sexual orientation. We recognise that sexual violence doesn’t just impact an individual in isolation, so we extend that support to friends and whānau of survivors.
The practical and emotional support offered by our clinicians provides a wrap-around service
which helps survivors on their journey to wellbeing.

Survivors can contact our service at any time for support. Crisis workers can be called out to be present for medical and police processes.

Social workers provide emotional support through education around trauma and sexual violence. They ensure ongoing therapeutic needs are met.

HELP’s ACC registered Counsellors provide talking therapies as well as a diverse range of modalities from art therapy to romiromi healing.
