Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers, so let us know about your skills, interests and availability. If you register as a volunteer below, we'll also keep in touch about events and activities we're organising - and how you can get involved.
We have a variety of voluntary positions from events support to Board members. We also require a heap of volunteers for our Annual Appeal weekend each year. Let us know what you are up for in the form below and we'll get back to you with an opportunity.
Start your own fundraiser
A significant way to support survivors is by holding your own fundraiser.
From hosting a workplace morning tea, to running a school bake sale or auctioning something off on Trade Me, there's heaps you can do to get you friends and colleagues to dig deep.
A few things to think about as you plan your fundraiser
Have fun with it
Choose something you, your friends, or your workmates will actually enjoy doing.
Know your limits
Your event should match what you and your team are actually able to do. No fundraiser is too tiny and every single gold coin counts.
Make it fun and educational
Your fundraiser is a fantastic opportunity to inform people about HELP and what we do, while still having a great time.
Ask HELP for help
We've got a lot of knowledge about events and fundraisers here at HELP so get in touch if you'd like some advice. We also have an event kit with tear-drop flags, collection buckets and leaflets about our services. These can be used by anyone that is fundraising for HELP. Get in touch if you'd like to borrow the kit.
