Sexual harm, trauma, and consent

We can HELP you recognise sexual harm, understand its traumatic impact, and what consent is.

How to recognise sexual harm

You are not sure if you’ve experienced sexual harm? Or you’re not sure if a close one could have experienced it? It’s okay, we’re here to HELP you recognise the signs.

Understand the impact of trauma

The impact of trauma can be subtle or deeply destructive. It affects everyone differently, shaped by their experiences, personality, and environment. That’s why we’re here, to HELP you understand it.

Let's talk about consent

Consent is IMPERATIVE for any sexual activity. Sexual activity without consent is sexual harm. Let’s understand together how to recognise whether someone is consenting or not.

Survivors' stories

Support can also be found through similar stories. You’re not alone, and it’s not your fault.

“Everyone I have been in contact with from HELP, has listened, cared, and supported me . . . I would not be where I am today without the support. I would describe it as life changing, sanity saving, and just someone you can talk to freely who listens.””.

“When I came to HELP, the office space and decoration of the therapy room helped make me feel comfortable and welcome. The social work service was good and has supported me in feeling comfortable to continue my healing journey.”.
